Ehlers, who suffered a lower-body injury in that game, did not skate with the team in its 3-1 loss to Dallas on Sunday.

Lambert, who was one of Winnipeg’s final cuts this fall, has three goals and 11 points in 16 games for Manitoba this season. He is second on the team in points, while his eight assists are tied for the team lead.

The Lahti, FI. product put up 21 goals and 55 points in 64 contests for the Moose last season – his first in the NHL since being drafted 30th overall by Winnipeg in the 2022 NHL Draft. He put up a singular assist in his lone NHL call-up last season.

Lambert skated between Cole Perfetti and Gabe Vilardi on the Jets’ second line during the team’s morning skate on Tuesday. Vlad Namestnikov shifted into the top line role, between Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor.

Winnipeg is set to face the St. Louis Blues in a Central Division matchup in its first home game in seven showings on Tuesday night. Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM central time from Canada Life Centre.
