The NHL offers a condensed slate of games on Monday but the matchups we do get will be a premium with some of the best faceoffs of the week.
The best two would have to be the Maple Leafs hosting Steven Stamkos and the Nashville Predators with the night capping off with a thrilling showdown between the Stars and Kings. It’ll be an exciting night of action and we have the picks that should enhance your viewing experience.

Bet: Predators Maple Leafs Under 5.5 goals (-105)
The Predators have struggled putting away games with just three wins and five overtime losses in their last 14 games. They go against a Leafs team that couldn’t be hotter with an 11-3-1 record over their last 15 games.
It makes it very interesting that these teams are entering this matchup in very different states but are still very close in terms of odds. This may be due to the fact that the Predators are poised for a win after losing four straight games.
The Maple Leafs normally dominate this matchup with wins in nine of their last 13 meetings with the Predators and will look to shut them down with their backend that has been one of the league’s best this season.
Toronto has changed into a new team under bench boss Craig Berube with the best home record at 11-3-0 and goals against average at 1.93 thanks to stellar play from netminders Joseph Woll and Anthony Stolarz. The public is loving the Buds in this spot with Toronto garnering 90 per cent of the moneyline bets and 67 per cent of the puck line bets.
In the past this would be a perfect spot to go against the Leafs as almost everything is in their favour with all the statistics, hype and momentum yet they lay an egg and come out flat, losing to a seemingly inferior opponent.
It makes me very nervous recommending either team but we can suggest the under as it is quite low at 5.5 but we have been stellar with our under picks at 23-15 this season.
Bet: Bruins Blackhawks Under 5.5 goals (-105), Blackhawks Under 2.5 goals (-115)
Since moving to new bench boss Joe Sacco, the Bruins have started to tighten up defensively and have turned into a subtle under team that you can take advantage of before others figure it out. They’ve gone under six goals in five of their seven games with Sacco behind the bench and have allowed two or more goals just three times.
The Blackhawks are a horrible offensive team with almost all the scoring being generated by superstar Connor Bedard. Chicago has lost three straight games and have the second-worst goals per game average in the league at 2.44 so far this season.
Boston hasn’t been a killer offensive team either as they sit just behind Chicago with the third-worst average at 2.48 this season. Our under record speaks for itself, we are willing to risk it with the red hot Bruins backend in this one.
Bet: Ducks ML (+130)
People haven’t been showing the Ducks almost any love this season considering they are a stellar 17-6-0 against the spread this season and have won six of their last ten games. They’ve covered in ten straight games including a tight 3-2 loss to the Golden Knights in mid-November.
Their recent run of success in large part due to the stellar play for netminder Lukas Dostal, who reps a 6-7-2 record yet still has a solid 2.73 goals against average. The Ducks have also won three of their last five matchups against the Golden Knights and have lost their two previous games this season which means they are due for a win.
The public loves the Golden Knights as they’ve garnered 84 per cent of the moneyline bets which we love as a fade of the public in this spot.
