Following the opener, the Wings play at the New Jersey Devils Oct. 15, marking the first of 14 back-to-backs. The Wings then play four of its next six games at Little Caesars Arena before wrapping up the month of October with a Halloween outing in Buffalo against the Sabres.
The Wings play eight games at LCA in November, but pay for it with a season-high nine road games in December and only five contests at Little Caesars Arena. The home slate for the month is highlighted by three Saturday games (Dec. 3 vs. Vegas and Dec. 17 vs. Ottawa), including the team’s annual New Year’s Eve matchup on Dec. 31 against the Ottawa Senators.
