Peterborough, ON – The Petes have made several additions to the Hockey Operations team for the upcoming 2022-23 season. The team is excited to announce that Natasha (Tash) Lagacé and Chelsea McQuade will both be working in expanded capacities for the upcoming season.
The Petes have hired Natasha Lagacé to work full-time with the Petes as an Athletic Therapist. Tash joined the Petes in August, 2018 in a part-time capacity. Tash holds a Specialized Honours Kinesiology and Health Science Degree and an Athletic Therapy Certificate obtained from York University.
Dr. Chelsea McQuade joins the Petes as an Assistant Therapist – Chiropractor. Chelsea spent time with the team during the 2021-22 season in the same role, while completing her education. She recently graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) where she graduated with Summa Cum Laude honours in 2022. She has an extensive background in treating sports injuries during her post secondary education. When Dr. McQuade isn’t at the rink, you can find her down the road working at Hybrid Health and Rehabilitation.
Chelsea and Natasha will work alongside Head Trainer and Equipment Manager, Brian Miller, who will be reaching the 2,000 games milestone as a hockey trainer this season (1,500 in the OHL), along with Assistant Equipment Manager, Larry Smith.
When asked about the additions to the Training Staff, Peterborough Petes GM, Mike Oke, commented: “I am very pleased that Brian, Larry, Tash, and Chelsea are returning for the upcoming season. All play an important role in making sure our players are able to perform at their best.”
