IceDogs Staff Raise $1,800 for Big Move Cancer Ride – Ontario Hockey League

by

Niagara, On – On Sunday, September 11th, four Niagara IceDogs staff members participated in the Big Move Cancer Ride, raising $1,800.00.

The Big Move Cancer ride is an annual event, in support of the Walker Family Cancer Centre at Niagara Health. With a variety of distances to choose from, the IceDogs staff opted for the 50km ride throughout the roads of Niagara. Donations are still being accepted at the time of writing this article, but so far, the Niagara community as a whole has raised $321,548.08 in 2022 through the Big Move for the Niagara Health Foundation.

Congratulations to all who participated, and thank you to everyone who has donated to raise money for local cancer-care. The IceDogs would like to send out a special shout-out to the U14 A St. Catharines Falcons, who they saw at the finish line cheering every rider on.
