  • Rookie defenceman Djibril Toure recorded his first multi-goal OHL putting
  • Wolves netminder Joe Ranger moved to 2-0 facing his former team.
  • Interim Head Coach Ken MacKenzie recorded his first OHL win as a head coach since the 1991-92 season.

Flint Firebirds 3, Sarnia Sting 4 – OT

  • After killing a 5 minute Firebirds power play at the end of regulation and the start of OT it was OA Ethan Ritchie who scored the winner for the Sting.
  • OHL Leading Goal-Scorer Nolan Burke scored twice for the Sting.
  • Zach Filak returned to the lineup scoring the opening goal after missing the last four games

Kingston Frontenacs 3, Windsor Spitfires 6

  • Ethan Miedema and Matthew Maggio each scored and added two assists.
  • With the win the Spitfires became the third team in the OHL to record their 10th win of the season.
  • Joey Costanzo remains undefeated in Windsor moving to 4-0 on the season.

Saginaw Spirit 5, Oshawa Generals 0

  • Defencemen Mitchell Smith and Pavel Mintyukov combined for three goals and three assists.
  • The first-overall pick from the 2022 OHL U18 Priority Selection Lincoln Moore scored his first career OHL goal.
  • Tristan Lennox made 26 saves for his first OHL shutout since December 30th, 2018.
