  • Trailing 3-2 midway through the third period, Sam Mayer scored the equalizer before Brennan Othmann set up Avery Hayes for the game-winner 2:40 into OT
  • The Petes led 2-0 early before North Bay climbed ahead 3-2 on goals by Josh Bloom, Anthony Romani and Matvey Petrov
  • Peterborough outshot North Bay 44-29 and won 61 percent of the game’s faceoffs
  • The Battalion remained without injured forward Pasquale Zito in Game 6 while Peterborough’s Cam Gauvreau served the first game of a suspension
  • Michael Simpson made 26 saves in the win opposite Dom DiVincentiis, who turned aside 40 shots
  • The two teams meet in Game 7 on Friday night at the Memorial Gardens
  • The Petes won Game 6 before a crowd of 3,836 at the PMC
