The University of Waterloo Warriors men’s hockey program today announced that Guelph Storm blueliner Payton Robinson has committed for the 2023-24 season.
The 20-year-old, Burlington, Ont. native will head to Waterloo this season after concluding an OHL career that spanned two seasons between the Storm and the Sudbury Wolves, recording three goals, 20 assists, and 23 points over 131 regular season contests.
Originally selected in the fifth round (97th overall) by the Wolves in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection, the 6-foot-2, 195lb. defenseman spent a season with the Burlington Cougars of the OJHL before making the jump to to the OHL in 2021-22.
