OHL talent excels at 2024 NHL Scouting CombineA number of draft eligible OHL players excelled in physical testing at the 2024 NHL Scouting Combine in Buffalo, New York this past weekend.
The OHL produced a few notable first place finishes from Jett Luchanko of the Guelph Storm, AJ Spellacy of the Windsor Spitfires, Ethan Procyszyn of the North Bay Battalion and Cole Beaudoin of the Barrie Colts, while other names like Jacob Battaglia of the Kingston Frontenacs, Sam Dickinson of the London Knights, Lukas Fischer of the Sarnia Sting, Ben Danford of the Oshawa Generals, Sam O’Reilly of the London Knights and Nathan Villeneuve of the Sudbury Wolves all made appearances high on the results of a few different tests.
A total of 23 OHL players attended the annual event that included a total of 107 players participating. The NHL Combine gave the 32 NHL teams physical and medical assessments of the top prospects ahead of the 2024 Draft at the Sphere in Las Vegas on June 28-29.
