White, a product of Boston, Mass., spent time with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and the Montreal Canadiens last season. In Pittsburgh, White was held off the scoresheet in 11 games but he collected 10 points in 21 regular season games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Playing with the Canadiens, White went pointless in 17 regular season games.

Drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the first round of the 2015 NHL Draft, White has played in 320 NHL regular season games over the course of his career and has put up 113 points.

As White gets set to head to San Jose, he will certainly play a big role with the Barracuda. White could also be a depth option for the Sharks as well. While they would have to sign White to an NHL deal before he could join them, the Sharks are expected to be a young team who will have their share of learning curves in 2024-25 and could potentially benefit if they choose to head down that road.
