Warren Foegele scored twice for L.A. Jordan Spence scored his first goal of the season, and David Rittich made 24 saves for the Kings.
Mikael Granlund scored twice giving him goals in two straight. Mackenzie Blackwood made his second straight start and made 27 saves. He gave up three goals in the first period but settled into another solid performance.
San Jose controlled their penalty troubles, as they only gave up two powerplays and killed them both.
Will Smith did not play for a development day as part of his load management rest plan.

Despite getting held by a Sharks player in front, Foegele scored his second straight goal to put the Kings up three.
Mikael Granlund picks the far corner for his second goal of the season to make it a 3-1 game.
Granlund scored his second powerplay goal with one minute to go in the last period.
