According to the most recent report from Sportico.com, the St. Louis Blues are worth more today than they were last year.
The Blues moved up to 24th in the NHL, up two spots from 26th in 2024, and have a valuation uptick of 35 percent and a value of $1.3 billion.

It goes to show the improvements, not only to the on-ice product but also the landscape of where the team plays and everything surrounding the Blues when chairman and CEO of Summit Distributing, Tom Stillman and partners purchased majority ownership of the franchise, along with local partners Jerald Kent, Donn Lux, James Cooper, Jo Ann Taylor-Kindle, Steve Maritz, Edward Potter, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Taylor, David Steward, Jim Kavanaugh, John Danforth, Christopher Danforth, Jim Johnson III, Scott McCuaig, John Ross, Jr., Tom Schlafly on May 9, 2012 for an estimated $130 million.
The only change to the current ownership group is that Steward sold his partial ownership stake to Michael W. Riney, the founder and managing director of QRM Capital, in July.
The average NHL team is worth $1.79 billion, according to data compiled by Sportico. The Toronto Maple Leafs rank first at $3.66 billion, while the Colombus Blue Jackets rank last at $1.06 billion. Of the league’s 32 franchises, their collective worth is $57.3 billion.
