A product of Prince Albert, Sask., Cracknell spent this past season with the Silver Knights where he scored 18 goals and added 17 assists for 35 points in 59 games.

Drafted by the Calgary Flames in the ninth round of the 2004 NHL Draft, Cracknell has played in 210 NHL career regular season games over the course of his career. In the time, he has collected 21 goals and 22 assists for 43 points.

Since turning pro at the end of the 2005-06 season, Cracknell has played far and wide. Besides spending time in the ECHL, AHL and NHL, Cracknell has also played in Denmark and China.

At 39, Cracknell showed last season that he still had plenty left to contribute. As he makes his way overseas for the second time in his career (played in China and Denmark in back-to-back seasons), he should be an important contributor for HK Poprad.
