Jeremy Swayman has been recognized for his solid rookie season with the Boston Bruins.

The 23-year-old was selected as the starting goaltender for the 2021-22 NHL All-Rookie Team on Tuesday. He joins Alexandre Carrier (Nashville Predators), Michael Bunting (Toronto Maple Leafs), Lucas Raymond (Detroit Red Wings), Trevor Zegras (Anaheim Ducks), and Calder Trophy winner Moritz Seider (Detroit Red Wings) on the exclusive club.

Swayman led all rookie goaltenders in wins (23), goals-against average (2.41) and save percentage (.914) in 41 appearances. He was named the NHL Rookie of the Month in Feb. 2022. The 2017 fourth-round draft pick marks the Bruins’ first All-Rookie Team selection since defenseman Charlie McAvoy in 2017-18. He’s the first B’s netminder to earn the honor since Andrew Raycroft in 2003-04.
