Bruins sign center prospect Brett Harrison to entry-level contract originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston
Brett Harrison is one step closer to playing for the Boston Bruins.
The team announced Monday it has signed the Oshawa Generals star to a three-year entry-level contract with an NHL salary cap hit of $859,167.
The Bruins selected Harrison in the third round (85th overall) of the 2021 NHL Draft.
He tallied 61 points (27 goals, 34 assists) in 65 games for the OHL’s Generals last season. He also posted seven points in six games during the 2022 playoffs.
Harrison is a top-five prospect for the Bruins and one of the few centers in the team’s pipeline with the potential to be a quality middle-six center at the pro level.
