Pastrnak asks Krejci if he’s returning to Bruins in funny video originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston
The David Krejci speculation just won’t go away.
Many Boston Bruins fans are hoping the veteran center comes back to the Original Six club for next season. Krejci left the B’s last offseason to continue his career in front of family and friends in the Czech Republic.
However, Krejci has not totally slammed the door shut on potentially returning to the NHL whenever he’s been asked about.
Krejci and Bruins star David Pastrnak, teamed up at the 2022 IIHF World Championships and helped the Czech Republic defeat the United States for the bronze medal last week.
Krejci and Pastrnak are back in Prague hanging out, and in a recent video posted to Instagram, the Bruins right winger asked his former teammate if he’s coming back to Boston.

Well, Krejci didn’t say no.
The Bruins said throughout the 2021-22 season that they would welcome Krejci back if he decided to return.
However, Bruins general manager Don Sweeney said earlier this month that he hasn’t talked to Krejci in a while.
“I certainly kept in touch with David and his camp throughout the year,” Sweeney said. “He had hard decisions to make in terms of the promise he had made to his family overall. Just ultimately decided to stay and see it through. Iâm sure at some point in time if he decides he wants to return, then hopefully I get a call and we can have a conversation. But I have not gone down that path for several months.”
The Bruins need an upgrade or two at center, so getting Krejci back in the fold would be pretty massive, even though he’s 36 years old.
