Draft-eligible OHL players make TSN analyst Bob McKenzie’s final projections – Ontario Hockey League

With the 2023 NHL Draft taking place on June 28-29 in Nashville, TN., TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie released his final projections of the top-32 and 96 players who could be chosen in the first three rounds of the 2023 NHL Draft.

A total of four OHL players earned recognition on the list of 32, while a total of 19 made McKenzie’s projections. See the complete list at tsn.ca.

Bob’s List of 32:

12 – LW Colby Barlow, Owen Sound Attack

Selected in the first round, eighth overall by the Owen Sound Attack in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection, Barlow had a standout season with the Bears, recording 46 goals, 33 assists, and 79 points to be voted an OHL First Team All-Star. Barlow was also named the 2022-23 CHL and OHL Scholastic Player of the Year.

21 – C Calum Ritchie, Oshawa Generals

Chosen by Oshawa second-overall in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection, the 6-foot-2 centreman was a consistent contributor for the Generals this season, finishing the year with 59 points in 59 games played, recording 24 goals and 35 assists. Ritchie can be easily recognized for his great blend of skill, vision and size.

25 – LW Quentin Musty, Sudbury Wolves

Former first overall OHL Priority Selection choice Quentin Musty recorded points in 41 of his 53 games for the Sudbury Wolves, tallying 26 goals, 52 assists and 78 points.

28 – D Oliver Bonk, London Knights

The son of former long-time NHL forward Radek Bonk, Oliver Bonk was solid on the blueline for the Knights this season, recording 10 goals, 30 assists and 40 points in 67 games throughout his rookie campaign. He led all rookie defenceman throughout the OHL Playoffs, tallying 11 points, and was voted to the OHL’s Second All-Rookie Team.

64 – RW Coulson Pitre, Flint Firebirds

68 – D Quinton Burns, Kingston Frontenacs

73 – C Carey Terrance, Erie Otters

76 – D Cam Allen, Guelph Storm

80 – LW Denver Barkey, London Knights

81 – C Luca Pinelli, Ottawa 67’s

82 – D Tristan Bertucci, Flint Firebirds

84 – LW Ethan Miedema, Kingston Frontenacs

95 – C Brad Gardiner, Ottawa 67’s
