With wins over the Colorado Avalanche, St. Louis Blues and Anaheim Ducks, the Golden Knights will be travelling out east to play the Washington Capitals, Tampa Bay Lightning and the Stanley Cup Champions, Florida Panthers.
The Golden Knights have won each of their first three games in different ways. The season opener was a dominant offence display headlined by Jack Eichel, Ivan Barbashev and Mark Stone. The second game against the Blues was a back-and-fourth encounter in which the Golden Knights found a way to win and hold onto the lead. Last night’s game against the Ducks was what HC Bruce Cassidy wants the team to do against a weaker opponent. They gave the Ducks were little offensively, capitalized on the power play and won a clean 3-1 game.

Through three games, Eichel leads the NHL in points with seven with Stone and Barbashev sitting just behind him with six.
Logan Thompson will be in goal for the Capitals on Tuesday after he was dealt in the offseason. This will be the first time Thompson has played against the Golden Knights. He’ll look to prove to the Golden Knights that they made the wrong decision in moving him so the Golden Knights must be prepared for an all-out performance from the Capitals netminder.
Puck drop is on Tuesday at 4:00 P.M. PST at Capital One Arena.
