Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Nicolas Hague has been upgraded to a game-time decision tonight ahead of their matchup against the Montreal Canadiens.
Hague has been injured since Nov. 2, when he likely reaggravated a lower-body injury he suffered on Oct. 25. The 25-year-old played in nine games before he landed on the IR, scoring one goal.
His possible return tonight would be a major boost to the Golden Knights blue line. Kaedan Korczak has stepped in for Hague and done a fantastic job but the Golden Knights value the physicality Hague brings to the lineup.

Up front, Mark Stone and Victor Olofsson remain out and on the back end, Alex Pietrangelo and Ben Hutton will be watching from the sidelines. Pietrangelo will be missing his second consecutive game with an upper-body injury he suffered against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Golden Knights had a bounce-back performance against the Ottawa Senators and will attempt to carry that momentum into tonight’s game. The Canadiens are on a two-game win streak but are just 7-10-2 this season.
