The Vegas Golden Knights will play their first road game of the season against Logan Thompson and the Washington Capitals.
Tonight’s game will be the first of three road games before the Golden Knights travel back home to Vegas. The Golden Knights are off to an incredible start, picking up wins in their first three games. The Capitals have played just one game to start the season which was a loss to the New Jersey Devils. Former Golden Knight Paul Cotter scored two goals for the Devils to help them defeat the Capitals 5-3.

The Golden Knights’ hot start has been headlined by Jack Eichel, Ivan Barbashev and Mark Stone. Eichel is in a three-way tie for most points in the NHL with seven and Stone and Barbashev sit in second with six.
Adin Hill is tonight’s projected starter after Ilya Samsonov played a sound game against the Anaheim Ducks. Logan Thompson will make his first start of his Capitals career against his former team.
