Jonathon Pylypuik signs with Generals – Ontario Hockey League

Oshawa, Ont. – The Oshawa Generals organization is extremely excited to announce the commitment of Jonathon Pylypuik to the organization. Pylypuik was invited to this year’s recent Orientation Camp as a free agent.

The Sylvania, OH, native spent the 2022-2023 season with the Nashville Jr. Predators AAA U16 team. In 54 games, the 6-foot-1, 168lbs. forward scored 13 goals and 23 assists for 36 points as a 16-year-old.

“I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Tullio, Mr. Hunt, Mr. Laxdal, their dedicated staff, my family, and all those who have been there for me throughout this incredible journey,” said Pylypuik. “It’s a privilege to play in the OHL and, more importantly, to represent the Oshawa Generals. My passion lies in winning, and my ultimate goal is to bring the Memorial Cup back to Oshawa, where it rightfully belongs!”

Pylypuik will wear number 18.
