The Los Angeles Kings’ road trip continues after a three-game stop in Canada to face the Ottawa Senators, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Montreal Canadiens.

Their first game against the Senators was one to remember. It’s not every day that an NHL game ends 8-7, but this one did. Ottawa came out on top, which left some questions surrounding the Kings’ new defensive systems.
The next game on the Canadian road trip was a stop in Toronto to face the Maple Leafs. This game was better, but still a struggle. After falling behind 3-0 after the first, they would go on to leave 6-2 to the Maple Leafs.
Their last spot was in Montreal, and they had better luck. After dropping the first two, their systems started to come together, and they were able to beat the Canadiens 4-1.

The Kings have two games left on their road trip before heading home on Thursday, Oct. 24, against the San Jose Sharks.
Although they are 2-1-2, they will be looking to build off their latest win and get a complete team buy-in to their new team systems before the season gets away from them.
