The Tampa Bay Lightning have advanced to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs after beating the Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 7 on Saturday evening.
Tampa will now meet up with the Florida Panthers in a rematch of the exciting first-round series from 2021.
Toronto, meanwhile, has yet to advance to the second round of the playoffs since 2004, before the salary cap era. The Leafs are 0-9 in series-clinching games since 2013, including a handful of Game 7s.
Nick Paul led the way for Tampa Bay with two goals, split by a Morgan Rielly marker for the Leafs.
