The Nashville Predators have played some solid hockey and some not-so-solid hockey through the first two weeks of the 2023 NHL regular season.
The search for consistency continues Saturday at Bridgestone Arena when the Preds face the winless San Jose Sharks.
Nashville followed Tuesday’s 6-1 home loss to Edmonton by winning 4-1 at the New York Rangers on Thursday. The Predators finally get a mini-run of home games, three straight at Bridgestone Arena in the next week.
Predators coach Andrew Brunette said before the game that forward Samuel Fagemo would play for the first time this season. The 23-year-old has two goals and one assist in 13 career games, all with the Los Angeles Kings. The move comes a day after Brunette announced forward Cody Glass would miss seven to 10 days with a lower-body injury.
