Otters’ Sedore commits to UPEI – Ontario Hockey League

The UPEI Panthers welcome another Erie Otters alumnus this week, with Noah Sedore reuniting with captain Cam Morton for the upcoming 2023-24 AUS season. Sedore joins the Panthers following five seasons with the Otters.

The Newmarket native was drafted by Erie in the eighth round of the 2018 OHL Priority Selection. He finishes his junior hockey career with 35 goals and 92 points across 186 contests.

“Noah is a perfect fit for our program. His hockey DNA has Panther hockey written throughout. With our significant graduation class, we needed to replace the high level of skill and Noah brings that,” Panthers coach Forbes MacPherson said. “He’s a player that we targeted early and pursued very hard, and we see him being an impact player in the AUS.”

Being able to play alongside Morton – who he has been teammates with since 2019-20 – was an influential factor in Sedore’s decision to play on the east coast.

“When the team reached out to both of us, we talked about the idea of playing together for a few more years and it ended up working out,” said Sedore.

“It will be nice to have a familiar face around the room while settling in.”
