The Rangers are signing center Sam Carrick, per multiple reports.
The deal is for $3 million over three years, reports David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period.
Carrick, 32, split last season between the Anaheim Ducks and Edmonton Oilers, scoring 10 goals and six assists in 77 games.
In eight NHL seasons with the Oilers, Ducks, and Toronto Maple Leafs, Carrick was 25 goals, 21 assists, and a -40 plus/minus rating.
