Rylan Singh commits to Storm – Ontario Hockey League

Guelph, ON – Guelph Storm General Manager George Burnett announced today that 2023 third round selection Rylan Singh has committed to a Standard Player Agreement with the hockey club.

The 5’11, 160 lbs defenceman from Pickering, Ontario was selected 43rd overall in this year’s OHL Priority Selection.

This past season, the 2007-born blueliner led the U16 York Simcoe Express AAA program in goals, assists, and points among defencemen, recording 11 goals and 35 assists for 46 points in 36 games. The right-shot defenseman added 3 goals and 14 assists for 17 points in 8 playoff games and notched 2 goals in 5 games at the OHL Cup.

“I’ve always dreamed of playing in the OHL and I’m so happy to now be a part of such a great organization in Guelph,” said Rylan Singh. “Orientation camp was a very positive experience with staff and players being very welcoming. I am very excited and look forward to playing in front of all the fans in Guelph.”
