The Buffalo Sabres have made a roster move, as they have placed forward Nicolas Aube-Kubel on injured reserve.

Aube-Kubel, 28, suffered a lower-body injury in the Sabres’ season-opener against the New Jersey Devils on Oct. 4. He also did not play during the Sabres’ matchup the following day against the Devils.
Aube-Kubel had just 5:45 of ice time in his Sabres debut and was forced to leave the matchup during the second period.
Aube-Kubel appeared in 60 games last season with the Washington Capitals, posting six goals, 10 assists, and a plus-4 rating.
