Saginaw Spirit Captain Josh Bloom is Buffalo’s Lone OHL Prospect

by

Tony Ferrari and Brock Otten broke down left winger Josh Bloom’s hockey future on the Oct. 28 episode of The Hockey News On The ‘O’ Podcast.

The Buffalo Sabres prospect is the captain of the OHL’s Saginaw Spirit. Buffalo drafted Bloom 95th overall in the 2021 NHL draft and signed an entry-level contract in April 2022.

So far, Bloom has five goals and 12 points in 15 games this OHL season. The hosts said Bloom is a safe player who can fit into a third-line role in the NHL, but what does he excel at the most?
