BOSTON – Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, July 18, that the team has signed defenseman Ryan Mast to a three-year entry-level contract.
Mast, 19, skated in 59 games with the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League in 2021-22, totaling nine goals and 22 assists for 31 points. The Bloomfield Hills, Michigan native added two assists in six OHL playoff games.
The 6-foot-5, 213-pound defenseman appeared in 58 OHL games with Sarnia in 2019-20, recording one goal and 10 assists for 11 points.
Mast was originally selected by Boston in the sixth round (181st overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
