I must say, it’s tough to get a read on these Leafs as of late. On Thursday, however, they were able to break out of their wee losing skid. They’ll look to win another tonight against the Jets.

Auston Matthews ($9,200) continues to hum along this season. Against the Jets, he’s scored five goals and 10 points in seven games, averaging almost two more FPPG against them than his season average. On top of that, he has 10 goals and 16 points in the last 10 games. Fire away as your building block.

Morgan Rielly ($4,800) is very points dependent as a fantasy player but I have a feeling he gets on the board tonight. He’s got four points in the last 10 games, and four in eight games against the Jets this year.

A slightly cheaper play could be Justin Holl ($2,900) who also has four points in eight games against the Jets this year.

Fire up your Kappo Kahkonen’s ($8,100), folks, as I like him tonight for the Wild against the Sharks. He’s got wins in three of five games this year.

Another player I like tonight is Carolina Hurricanes forward Sebastian Aho ($6,800) against the Florida Panthers. He’s got 10 points in seven games against them this season and is averaging five FPPG more against them than other teams this year.

He’s a question mark to play, but if he’s in the lineup I like Roope Hintz ($6,700) against Detroit. He’s quietly having a breakout season for Dallas with 38 points in 33 games this year.
