18 OHL players set to compete in 2023 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship – Ontario Hockey League

Boxing Day brings World Junior Hockey Championship action, with 18 OHL players competing in this year’s international showcase.

OHL players are competing for eight different countries in Halifax, N.S. and Moncton, N.B. as the tournament runs from December 26 through January 5.

The Ottawa 67’s lead all OHL clubs with three players included on this year’s World Junior rosters.

Action begins Monday with four games on the schedule, including Canada taking on Czechia in their tournament-opener at 6:30pm ET in Halifax.
