Visiting teams had their way on Friday night, with eight of nine coming out on top across the League. Here’s Friday’s action at a glance:

Ottawa 67’s 4, Oshawa Generals 1

  • Cooper Foster earned first star honours as the 67’s improved to 5-0 to start a season for the third time in their history
  • Max Donoso made 20 saves for the win
  • Ryan Gagnier scored Oshawa’s lone goal and went 18-for-25 in the faceoff circle

Hamilton Bulldogs 2, Kingston Frontenacs 4

  • Matthew Soto and Owen Outwater both scored their first of the season while Adam Cavallin scored his first OHL goal
  • Dallas Stars prospect Francesco Arcuri scored the game winner midway through the third period
  • Chicago Blackhawks prospect Paul Ludwinski and Ottawa Senators pick Ben Roger both made their season debuts for Kingston
  • Ivan Zhigalov turned aside 29 shots for the win

Mississauga Steelheads 5, London Knights 4 – OT

  • Montreal Canadiens prospect Owen Beck scored twice, netting the overtime winner for the Trout
  • Blueliners Ethan Del Mastro and Chas Sharpe both logged three assists in the win
  • Rookie defenceman Sam Dickinson scored his first OHL goal and added an assist for the Knights
  • George Diaco scored in his London Knights debut
  • Steelheads netminder Alessio Beglieri made 21 saves, improving to 4-0 on the season
  • Mississauga rookie and London native Liam Spencer made his OHL debut
  • London falls to 0-3-1-0 out of the gate this season

Windsor Spitfires 6, Sarnia Sting 3

  • Ryan Abraham led the way with two goals and two assists while Colton Smith scored twice as the Spits improve to 4-0-1-0
  • Jacob Maillet had a goal and an assist while Matthew Maggio and Anthony Cristoforo both had two assists
  • Mathias Onuska stopped 30 of 33 for the win
  • Sarnia’s Ty Voit stretched his point streak to six games with a pair of assists

Barrie Colts 2, Sudbury Wolves 1 – OT

  • David Goyette tied the score with 2:28 remaining to force overtime where Barrie’s Connor Punnett netted the winner with 1:05 to spare
  • Evan Vierling scored for Barrie while Ethan Cardwell picked up two assists in his season debut
  • Defencemen Kashawn Aitcheson (BAR) and Jakub Chromiak (SBY) made their OHL debuts
  • Arizona Coyotes prospect Anson Thornton stopped 44 of 45 for the win while Sudbury’s Joe Ranger made 38 saves

Peterborough Petes 3, Soo Greyhounds 2 – OT

  • Philadelphia Flyers prospect J.R. Avon scored twice, netting the game winner on a wraparound 1:59 into overtime
  • Sault Ste. Marie’s Mark Duarte tied the score with 1:30 remaining in the third period
  • Liam Sztuska stopped 27 of 29, picking up his first OHL win in his first start of the season

Saginaw Spirit 6, Guelph Storm 1

  • Spirit rookie Michael Misa recorded a goal and three assists while Theo Hill scored twice
  • Joey Willis recorded his fourth straight multi-point game, joining PJ Forgione with a goal and an assist
  • Storm forward Sasha Pastujov was assessed a five-minute major for slew footing in the first period
  • Blueliner Jake Murray made his Storm debut, wearing #5
  • New York Islanders prospect Tristan Lennox stopped 29 of 30 for the win

Owen Sound Attack 4, Kitchener Rangers 1

  • Attack captain Colby Barlow scored a hat trick and logged nine shots on goal as the Bears shook off three straight losses
  • Matthew Papais scored his first in an Attack jersey while Cedrick Guindon recorded two assists
  • Nick Chenard stopped 28 of 29 for the win opposite Marco Costantini, who stopped 29 in his Rangers debut
  • Kitchener falls to 0-5-0-0 out of the gate this season

Flint Firebirds 8, Erie Otters 1

  • Brennan Othmann and Ethan Hay each scored twice as the Firebirds pulled away late in Erie
  • Tristan Bertucci had a goal and assist, joining Gavin Hayes and Coulson Pitre (2A) with two points
  • Flint’s Will Cranley made 26 saves to record the win
  • Firebirds rookie Alex Bradshaw scored his first OHL goal
  • Otters rookie netminder Jacob Gibbons stopped 12 of 13 in relief, making his OHL debut
