According to Michael DeRosa, the Boston Bruins reporter for The Hockey News, there’s a possibility that the Bruins might be interested in acquiring a forward from the Los Angeles Kings to bolster their middle-six lineup.
Like many other teams, the Bruins are in search of additional support through trades, following a strong start to the free agency period.
Despite losing key players such as Jake DeBrusk, Linus Ullmark, Danton Heinen, James Van Riemsdyk, and Pat Maroon, the Bruins have successfully filled those positions.
They have brought in Elias Lindholm, Nikita Zadorov, Max Jones, Joonas Korpisalo, and Mark Kastelic as replacements.
However, they are still in need of another deep scorer, and the Kings could provide the solution.
Arthur Kaliyev, a 23-year-old forward, has been eagerly awaiting a trade that he had requested at the end of the season, but it has yet to materialize.

There has been a lot of speculation about which team would be interested in him, including the Montreal Canadiens, New York Islanders, Toronto Maple Leafs, Nashville Predators, or San Jose Sharks. However, it seems that no trade has been arranged for him yet.
The Bruins have the opportunity to acquire Kaliyev from the Kings, which could significantly strengthen their middle-six lineup.
The unique culture of the Bruins, which emphasizes holding each other accountable and this accountability trickles down to the 12th forward, could be a significant advantage for Kaliyev in Boston.
This would represent a major change from his current environment in Los Angeles, which could be beneficial for his career.
