- 2023 NHL Draft prospect Nick Lardis scored twice for Hamilton, Lardis has now recorded an impressive 24 goals and 44 points in 28 games as a Bulldog.
- The Bulldogs extended their winning streak to four games, they sit tied with the Peterborough Petes for the fourth seed in the Eastern conference and home ice in the first round of the OHL Playoffs.
- The victory was Hamilton’s fourth in five matchups against the 67’s this season, the other 18 teams in the OHL have combined for 11 victories against the 67’s
- The loss was Ottawa’s first regulation loss since February 11th, and first regulation loss to an OHL opponent since January 22nd. The 67’s had recorded points in eighteen straight games against OHL teams before Sunday.
