HAMILTON, ONTARIO. Hamilton Bulldogs Owner Michael Andlauer today announced the promotion of Assistant General Manager Matt Turek to the Interim General Manager role, effective immediately.
Turek, started with the Bulldogs as a scout in the 2015-16 season when the team moved to Hamilton and has continued to move up in the organization. Renown for his knowledge of the game and eye for talent, Turek became Director of Player Personnel prior to the 2018-19 season and had a large hand in the construction of the 2022 OHL Championship team. In addition to his roles with the Bulldogs, Turek has served simultaneously as a scout for the Montreal Canadiens.
