AHL veteran and a 2014 Calder Cup Champion Cameron Gaunce has signed a contract with Fehérvár AV19 of ICEHL for the 2024-25 season.
Originally a second round pick of the Colorado Avalanche in 2008, Gaunce spent last season with the Toronto Marlies, recording eight points in 40 games.
In 823 career AHL games Gaunce registered 51 goals, 306 points, and 928 penalty minutes, he is also a +126.

The Sudbury, ON, native won the 2013-14 Calder Cup with the Texas Stars.
The 34-year-old played in 37 NHL games with four franchises, notching nine points. Four of those points came in a three-game stretch with the Tampa Bay Lighting in 2019-20.
In the press release from Fehérvár AV19 Gaunce mentions his wife and her family are Hungarian and that was a contributing factor in his decision to sign in the ICEHL. Gaunce will also have the opportunity to compete in the Champions Hockey League.
