The winger might not have played a game since December 14, but those silky mitts are still working and it should be a joy for fans to watch his puck skills this coming season.
While Alex Newhook was the talk of the town last year, this season it seems like Laine will be the biggest story at camp. There will be reports about each different line combination Martin St-Louis will try and more than likely about every flashy outfit the newly minted Hab will wear.

Meanwhile, more and more players are skating in Brossard and while camp has not officially started, there are scrimmages being played and pranks as well. The Canadiens shared a video of a confused Kaiden Guhle looking for his glove that someone “accidentally” put it in the trash.
The Canadiens’ annual golf tournament is set for September 16th and the main training camp opens on September 18 with the physical tests meaning on ice action stars on the 19. As for the rookies, they’ve got their physical tests on the 11th and will hit the ice on the 12th. Hang tight, it’s coming!
