The Cleveland Monsters have signed former Nashville Predator Rocco Grimaldi to a PTO contract.
He spent last season with the Chicago Wolves of the AHL and had 73 points.

Grimaldi is also the veteran of 203 NHL games with the Nashville Predators, Florida Panthers, and Colorado Avalanche. He has a total of 67 NHL Points.

The team also signed defenseman Madison Bowey to a PTO on Thursday. Bowey spent last season in the KHL but has 204 games of AHL experience. He has a total of 93 AHL points. Bowey brings 158 games and 40 points of NHL experience.
The Jackets are being plagued by the injury bug already this season, having lost Boone Jenner, Dmitri Voronkov, and Justin Danforth. Danforth should be returning soon, while Voronkov is expected to be out until late November. Jenner has been lost for 4-6 months.
