Sudbury Wolves 4, Guelph Storm 5 OT

  • Nearing the halfway mark of the third period Sudbury led 4-1, Guelph scored three goals in the final 12 minutes to tie the game and send it to overtime.
  • Jake Karabela tied the game in the final 90 seconds to force the extra frame.
  • In the final minute of overtime, Matthew Poitras scored for the Storm to complete the comeback, he was named the first star with three assists.

Ottawa 67’s 4, Mississauga Steelheads 2

  • The 67’s put an end to their four-game losing streak with a Sunday afternoon victory in Mississauga.
  • Anthony Costantini scored for Ottawa ending a 20-game goalless drought, the goal also gave him 26 points on the season, matching his career high from 2021-22.
  • After scoring his first career OHL point on Friday night Stevie Leskovar scored his first career goal on Sunday.

  • Trailing 3-0 and 4-2 the Bulldogs scored five straight goals to win the game 7-4.
  • Sahil Panwar led the comeback for Hamilton, scoring twice and adding three assists
  • Cole Brown also scored twice for Hamilton, his 4th multi-point game in his last five games.

  • Brett Harrison, Alex Christopoulos and Liam Greentree each scored twice for Windsor, and eight different Spitfires had multi-point games.

  • Jordan D’Intino scored twice for the Greyhounds in his 100th career OHL game

  • Brandt Clarke scored his first career OHL hat trick, scoring three and assisting to have a part in all four Colts’ goals.

  • Ryan Gagnier scored three for his first career OHL hat trick and added an assist contributing to all four Generals’ goals.
  • Jacob Oster after recording his first OHL shutout on Friday recorded a 30-save shutout for back-to-back doughnuts.
  • The loss was the first time North Bay had been shut out this season.
