Known as the voice of the Oshawa Generals, Mike “Lucky” Luck has made his way to the NHL on Sportsnet’s broadcast team, as he gears up to call games on a more regular basis this season with the Ottawa Senators and Winnipeg Jets, including assignments on Hockey Night in Canada.
Making his NHL debut back in February of this year, Luck is recognized as the play-by-play announcer for the Generals on Rogers tv Durham and one-half of the Craig Venn and Lucky Show on Rock Radio Mornings at 94.9 FM in Durham.
Calling his 500th OHL game back in 2019, Mike has shared his knowledge and talents in the League for 15 seasons with the Generals.
The OHL wishes Mike Luck the very best in his NHL endeavours as he continues to call Generals games throughout the 2022-23 season.
