The Vegas Golden Knights are set to duel with the Philadelphia Flyers and could be without Zach Whitecloud after he left Saturday’s contest against the Montreal Canadiens with an apparent injury.
No information has been provided about Whitecloud’s health at the moment but what is known is he left Saturday’s game in the third period and did not return.
Zach Whitecloud left the ice and went down the tunnel to the dressing room, according to the broadcast.

When Whitecloud exited, the game was safely put to rest and led to an eventual 6-2 win for the Golden Knights. The 27-year-old’s failure to return to the game could have been precautionary, with no reason to possibly worsen the injury with such a large lead in a game in November.
On the other hand, Whitecloud could have suffered a serious injury, jeopardizing his health for tonight’s fixture against the Flyers.
The Brandon, MAN native has been as dependable as they come for the Golden Knights. In 21 games, he’s scored a goal and an assist all while averaging 17:23 of time on ice. The Golden Knights are outscoring their opponents 14-10 with Whitecloud on the ice and are outshooting their opponents 155-138.
With Ben Hutton remaining on the LTIR and Alex Pietrangelo dealing with an upper-body injury, the Golden Knights hope Whitecloud’s injury isn’t serious and can play in tonight’s game.
