William Karlsson has been absent from Vegas Golden Knights practices for maintenance for injury-related reasons.

He played in every game but was absent for practices and at times deferred from taking faceoffs.
The Swedish centerman is expected to play with Mark Stone and Pavel Dorofeyev but due to his absence, Nicolas Roy has taken his spot. Roy skated with Tomas Hertl and Alexander Holtz against the Los Angeles Kings in the team’s most recent pre-season game.
HC Bruce Cassidy has been quiet about what Karlsson is dealing with so no timetable for his return has been released.
Nicolas Hague also wasn’t skating today as he left Wednesday’s game with an injury in the second period and did not return. No update has been given about him yet either.
