Oshawa, Ont. – The Oshawa Generals organization is extremely excited to announce the commitment of Isaac Gravelle to the organization. Gravelle was selected in the second round, 25th overall in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection on Friday, April 21st.

Gravelle is the highest-selected goalie for the Generals since Kevin Bailie was selected in the first round of the 2008 draft. In 23 games played for the Southern Tier Admirals, Gravelle played to a 1.22 goals against average and five shutouts.

Described by scouts as a highly-skilled goaltender, Gravelle has exceptional technical ability and positional play. Throughout his playoffs and the OHL cup, Gravelle was able to make textbook saves against some of the best shooters.

“I feel honoured to be joining the Oshawa Generals,” said Gravelle. “I have worked towards this moment and look forward to further developming as a goalie with this amazing team and coaching staff.”

GensNation’s first opportunity to see Gravelle took place last weekend during the 2023-2024 Orientation Camp on May 13th and 14th. Gravelle backstopped his team to a 7-4 victory on the first day of scrimmages.

Gravelle will wear number 90.
