MONTREAL – Tyler Toffoli scored in overtime and the Montreal Canadiens have taken the North Division finals in a sweep over the Winnipeg Jets on Monday night at the Bell Centre, winning 3-2.
The Habs advance to the Stanley Cup semifinals for the first time since 2014.
They will face the winner of the series between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Colorado Avalanche in the Stanley Cup semifinals. The Western Division final is tied 2-2.
