As one of the NHL’s founding teams in 1917 and the franchise with the most Stanley Cup banners, it is no surprise that almost 60 players in the Hockey Hall of Fame have worn a Montreal Canadiens sweater at some point during their careers.
Perspectively, some of the game’s all-time greats played for the Canadiens have awards named after them, including Georges Vezina and Maurice “Rocket” Richard, along with builder Frank J. Selke.
Considering Montreal is the only hockey team to win five consecutive Stanley Cup titles, plenty of players from that dynasty share plaques in the Hall of Fame in Toronto.
Moreover, the Canadiens are the only team in the Hall of Fame with three separate dynasties inducted: the 1955-1960 teams, the 1964-1969 teams, and the 1975-1979 teams.

Considering that 938 players (849 skaters and 89 goalies) have dressed for a game with the Canadiens in 107 years, plenty of players with Hall of Fame resumes have not yet earned an induction. Who do you think should get the call someday?
