New NHL Alumni were added to NHL 25.
At least 17 players received overall adjustments or were added to NHL Alumni Association rosters.
EA Sports has not released a comprehensive list of who was added but I compared the Alumni Association rosters in NHL 24 and 25 to find new players.
Doug Weight, Henrik Zetterberg, Peter Bondra, Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau, and P.K. Subban are the highest overall additions.
All new players and their overalls are pictured below.

Players must join the NHL Alumni Association in order to be added to any EA Sports NHL games.
The Vegas Golden Knights received their first alumni team, so all of those players are new alumni additions, though most are still active and exist on other in-game rosters.
Recent retirees Kyle Chipchura, Michael Del Zotto, and Zack Kassian were added to alumni rosters. Brent Seabrook’s NHL contract officially expired at the end of last season, so he received a boost from 70 overall to 86.
Fan favorites Andrew Shaw and Kyle Turris were added to Chicago and Ottawa respectively. Subban, Weight, and Pyatt can be found of multiple alumni rosters.
A surprise addition was Mats Naslund, a member of the triple gold club who recorded 634 points in 651 games before returning to Europe after nine NHL seasons, he can be found among Montreal’s alumni.
Thrash Hockey also did a video on the many of the new alumni.
Given the quantity of players on alumni rosters there is a chance we missed one so if we find any additional alumni or if EA Sports publishes a complete list we will update this article.
