New NHL 25 Patch Notes 1.2.0

A massive patch went live today in NHL 25.

The most notable addition is that all 32 NHL coaches are now in-game, you can view all 32 coach cards here.

Notable gameplay fixes were made including to:

Stick collisions during stumbles, passes aimed directly at the goalie, player animations, CPU players not skating to loose pucks in the defensive zone, goalies oversliding, and new updated plays.

The most significant gameplay tuner change is one that players have been clamoring for since the game’s release, an adjustment to Skill Based One Timers. From the Patch Notes:

The notes express a desire from EA to keep the Skill Based One Timers a viable scoring options so they will likely still be very strong.

Crashing issues, stat tracking, editing, and conversations were fixed in Franchise Mode. Significant adjustments were made to contract negotiations and draft and signing logic.

Performance issues and crashing errors were addressed in World of Chel, while new cosmetic rewards were added

Conversation issues and logos were fixed in Be A Pro.

On the presentation side new and improved camera angles were added in-game and in post-game menus.

Center ice art and jerseys were fixed for numerous teams in the NHL, AHL, ECHL, ICEHL, CHL, DEL, National League, and HockeyAllsvenskan.

Wild Card salary updates, custom horns, and player’s lineup screens disappearing were fixed in Hockey Ultimate Team.

Numerous updates were made to in-game art, including fixing shadows, logos, and facial hair on players.
