After being claimed on waivers earlier this week, Dante Fabbro has scored his first goal with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

It has been a rollercoaster ride for Fabbro; last week he was a member of the Nashville Predators, the team that drafted him.
Flash forward a week, and he is a part of a new team and trying to become acclimated with everyone. If there is one way to do that, it is putting the puck in the back of the net.
Which is what Fabbro did last night against the Montreal Canadiens. The goal came on a booming slap shot from the point that went through a screen in front of Canadiens goalie Sam Montembeault.
That wasn’t only the lone goal scored for the Blue Jackets in a 5-1 loss. It was also his first goal of the season, which he looks to turn around with his new squad.
