Toronto, Ont. – The Ontario Hockey League today announced the Week 6 edition of the weekly U16 AAA rankings for the 2024 OHL Cup Showcase Tournament presented by FPS Payment and hosted by the Greater Toronto Hockey League.
The 2024 OHL Cup will feature 20 teams consisting of talent eligible for the 2024 OHL Priority Selection. Starting with three Wild Card Play-In matchups on Monday, March 25, all games will be played at the Scotiabank Pond in Toronto until the Championship Final moves to the Mattamy Athletic Centre on Saturday, March 30.
The weekly rankings are determined by a panel of OHL Central Scouting staff and represent the top teams that are competing to play in the annual year-end championship tournament.

The Toronto Marlboros Holiday Classic champion Barrie Colts rise one spot to #2 on this week’s list while the tournament finalist Oakville Rangers are also up a spot, climbing to #4. The Quinte Red Devils, who reached the Quarterfinals of the Marlies showcase, make their first appearance of the season inside the Top-10, coming in at #10 to enter the new year.

The Toronto Jr. Canadiens reigned supreme in the 2023 OHL Cup, blanking the Vaughan Kings 3-0 in the Championship Final to wrap-up a perfect 7-0 tournament while surrendering a record-low three goals against. Jr. Canadiens forward Jake O’Brien (Brantford Bulldogs) led the showcase in scoring with 17 points (7-10–17), claiming tournament MVP honours.
